Abstract
Soil pollution has a significant effect on both human health and the environment. Direct contact, inhalation, ingestion of contaminated soil or food grown in it lead to various health problems including respiratory issues, neurological disorders and even cancer.Soil pollution reduces soil fertility, impacting agricultural productivity and food security. The negative effects on ecosystems by biodiversity loss, disturbing mineral cycles and leading to water and air pollution as well.
